2026 Finals

Team Hobson has won the 583 Cup in the second annual tournament.
Securing the victory against a very exciting, fast paced Team Okapiec. All the games played against each other in this year's tournament were very close games. Fitting then that the final game was no different. This game was full of great goaltending, high energy offense, and some fantastic goals.
After some stellar goaltending by Tanner Greenwood to keep his team in the game against the high flying, shot heavy offense of Team Hobson, the teams were all knotted up at 4 goals apiece with 6 minutes left to play. Team Hobson was finally able to pull ahead with a 2 goal lead by Brent Howarth and Declan Whiteman's offensive efforts.
With only a few minutes left, Kam Kuzyk brought Team Okapiec back to within a goal after scoring on a penalty shot.
With some great saves by team captain Jon Hobson in net, and some strong defensive zone play, Team Hobson was able to run out the clock on a ferrocious onslaught of offensive zone pressure by Team Okapiec. It was a very exciting game for the fans, and a great game to end this year's tourney.
Congratulations goes out to all three teams for their efforts, and great hockey played in the tournament this year!
Along with winning the 583 Cup Trophy, some commorative t-shirts for team Hobson were handed out after the game.

At the get together after the games, a few awards were handed out to some of the players:
